As Wanderlust Puerto Vallarta 2026 gets closer, I have been thinking about just how many people have helped bring this event to life, and I want to take a moment to say thank you. First, to the incredible women I had the privilege of working with on Expats: Living the Dream — Audra Ricketts, Cassandra Shaw, Colette Kase, Deepa Gleason, Ellen Sharp, Erika Tafel, Kate Messinger, Marcia Blondin, María Velázquez Ammerman, Marianne Belardi, and Valerie Branch. Thank you for trusting me with your stories, for sharing your experiences so openly, and for taking this journey with me. Wanderlust Puerto Vallarta grew from these stories and from the idea of bringing writers, readers, and our community together to celebrate them. I am so excited that we will finally be celebrating the official launch of Expats: Living the Dream together. To all of our sponsors and supporters, thank you. Thank you to Plumas Azules Writing Group of PV and La BiB – Biblioteca Infantil Bilingüe for joining us and helping make Wanderlust a true literary and community event. And thank you to Duncan Shadrack and Shadrack for bringing the music and helping us finish the evening the way every good celebration should — with people on the dance floor. At the heart of all of this is something even bigger. Wanderlust Puerto Vallarta 2026 is also an opportunity to give back, with proceeds supporting the Vallarta School for Girls and the important work they are doing in our community. There are also so many people behind the scenes — sharing our posts, offering their time, helping with promotion, donating, encouraging us, and simply asking, “How can I help?” To every one of you, thank you. This started with stories. Now it has become a community. And I cannot wait to see everyone together at Wanderlust Puerto Vallarta 2026, October 25 at Oscar’s Restaurant.
